Last month, Frey was unexpectedly fired and banned from SeaWorld property after a security guard reported him to human resources. Frey took to TikTok to share his side of the story, where he explained that the disagreement centered around his daily routine of riding his bike on park property.

Frey described the incident as arriving at work with a bicycle attached to the bicycle of his car as usual. He parked his car, went to security, greeted the familiar guards and got on his bike. He was then called by a uniformed security guard, who informed him that bikes could not be ridden on park land. Confused by this sudden application of a law he had never encountered before, Frey asked for clarification and documentation. However, the guard repeatedly told him, “You are not allowed,” without further explanation or written rules.
Escalation and Termination
According to Frey, the guard instructed him to park his bike at a bike rack outside the park, which was impractical for him as he usually parked his bike in his dressing room. Frey expressed his frustration, allegedly mumbling something to the effect of, “Oh give some guy some sergeant bars and it goes to his head.” The guard then reported Frey to HR, claiming that Frey had cussed at him, thrown his bike, and bragged about getting the guard fired.
Following this report, Frey was terminated without being given an opportunity to present his side of the story. He expressed his disappointment in a TikTok video, which has since garnered over 2.8 million views.
Aftermath
Frey’s firing has drawn widespread criticism from his fans and the wider community. Many took to social media to express their support for Mime and their displeasure with SeaWorld’s decision. Frey, who has more than 82,700 TikTok followers, received more sympathetic support from the audience.
